Pricing

IBAN Analyzer turns an IBAN into the bank behind it — name, BIC, city and address — out of national bank registers. Most people never need a plan. Here is exactly what the paid ones add.

Free, with no account

Three things cost nothing and are not going to start costing anything:

  • • Checking an IBAN on the website. No sign-up, no limit.
  • • The public API: 60 lookups an hour per network, no key, CORS enabled.
  • • The browser extension, for IBANs on a page you are already reading.

Plans

A plan buys an API key, a monthly allowance and the spreadsheet features. Allowances reset every month.

What counts against an allowance

A bank lookup
One request that returns the bank behind an IBAN: name, BIC, city, address. For most people this is the only number on the page that matters — it is what the product is for.
An IBAN validation
One request that checks whether an IBAN is structurally valid and names the country, without returning bank data.
An OCR extraction
One image or PDF read for IBANs. It is the only thing here that costs us money per call, which is why its allowances are the smallest.

Billing

Where the data comes from

Bank reference data is taken from national bank registers — the Deutsche Bundesbank, Banco de España, the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye, the National Bank of Ukraine and others — together with the SWIFT BIC directory. The free API documentation lists which authority stands behind each country.

Bank reference data is compiled from the national registers named above and is accurate to the best of those sources, but it is not a certified payment record. For a payment that must not fail, confirm with the recipient or their bank. Not affiliated with any bank.
